Adult Probation

About the Department

Chambers County Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD) serves the 253rd Judicial District Court, 344th Judicial District Court and the County Court and County Court at Law of Chambers County.

The department supervises misdemeanor and felony adult offenders who are placed on community supervision.  The department also supervises sex offenders as well as pre-trial diversion cases. Chambers County CSCD supervises cases transferred to our jurisdiction from other counties in Texas as well as cases from out of state transferred in through the Interstate Compact Offender Tracking System. CSCD collects probation fees, pre-trial fee, victim restitution and other fees from defendants.

The mission of Chambers County CSCD is foremost, the protection of the community.  Protection is achieved through effectively supervising offenders and working toward a common goal that is aimed in the direction of rehabilitating offenders and reducing recidivism.

The Chambers County CSCD visualizes being an agent of change to the offender and community we serve and being intentional with providing opportunities for an offender to modify their behavior.
