“All F-1 Heifers, Scramble Cattle, Breeding Beef, Dairy Cattle, Chambers County Steers, Commercial Steers, Lambs, Goats, Swine, Breeding Rabbit, Market Rabbit, Open Poultry and Horse Show Entries MUST be submitted online at www.fairentry.com by the deadlines listed on the Important Dates page of the Livestock Rulebook.
Paper entries should be submitted for the Queens Contest, Small Animal Scramble, Large Animal Scramble, Greased Pig Scramble, Scramble Reports and Record Books and Scholarship Applications only. Please refer to the deadlines listed on the Important Dates page of the Livestock Rulebook to ensure that your entries are submitted on time.
Paper entries will be accepted for divisions requiring online applications only when there are extenuating circumstances and proof is provided. All parents/exhibitors who have trouble entering their projects online should immediately call or visit the CCYPS Office to receive assistance. Please note: exhibitors who do not notify the CCYPS Office of difficulty entering BEFORE the deadline will not have their entries accepted. Late or incorrectly completed entries will not be accepted.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are showing a F-1 Heifer, Commercial Steer, Chambers County Steer, Scramble Calf, Swine, Goat or Lamb, submitting an online entry does not complete your entry. These animals must be ear-tagged at an official YPS Tag In (either Large Animal Tag In or Small Animal Tag In, corresponding to species). Dates for Tag Ins are listed in the official livestock rulebook. Animals that have been entered but not tagged or that have been tagged but not entered will be barred from the show.
If you are entering a registered animal you are required to turn in your registration paper work separately from your online entry. Further, if you are not keeping your animal at home, you are required to turn in a supplemental Off Premises Form (found below). Registration and other supplemental paperwork can be turned in to the YPS office via hand, via email to email@example.com or via fax to 409-267-4442. Again, please pay attention to the deadlines listed in the Rulebook as no late paperwork will be accepted.”
